Air sealing and weather stripping may help prevent drafts and reduce energy loss.
Improve Insulation
Attic, wall and foundation insulation may help your home maintain a more comfortable temperature.
Upgrade Heat Systems
Services may include furnace inspection, cleaning, repairs or replacement when needed.
Improve Health & Safety
Eligible improvements may include smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors and other safety measures.
Recommended services are based on the results of your home’s energy assessment. Not every home will receive every service.

Approved improvements are selected based on the home’s energy audit, safety needs and program requirements.

How Weatherization Works
Weatherization is a multi-step process. Project NOW reviews your application and evaluates your home before improvements are approved or scheduled.
Submit an application along with the requested household, income and property documentation.
Project NOW determines whether your household and property meet current program requirements.
A trained professional visits your home to identify energy loss, safety concerns and potential improvements.
Approved improvements are scheduled with qualified contractors.
Contractors complete the approved work, followed by a final quality inspection.
Every home is different. Services are based on the energy audit, available funding and program approval.
